hi Paul. no i certainly didn't take your message wrong. i just thought i'd write about the way i (and my dad !) see resource based stocks and the possible risk i think one faces in investing in them because company management doesn't have much, if any control of material price.
no doubt there's a profit to be made when it's a well run company and the resource price is going the right way. but when the material price goes pear shaped maybe that's the time to leave with any profit u've made. i guess one can always buy in again when the material price looks like it's moving up. just my opinion.
