It's not oppression, it's about beauty and taste.

I mean, you can wear whatever you want if you don't care how you look.

Most of the time I wear T-shirt and gym shorts or gym pants. But when I want to dress up, then it would be almost physically impossible to wear blue shoes with a yellow suit, not that I ever wear yellow.

Well, possibly if wearing a blue blouse and some blue jewelry, to pull it all together, a cheerful, but informal, look.
