The whole issue of welfare rights to single mothers drives me nuts. It is outright discrimination that unemployed, single mothers get free healthcare in this country. I have had to pay over $20,000 out of pocket in the past year for hip replacement, kidney stones and a broken elbow. The 20K was just the part the medical companies did not pay. I'm glad the insurance paid the other 80%, but these deductibles are simply outrageous. Who charges $18,000 for an elbow surgery or a lithotripsy for kidney stones? It totally offends me that poor people get free healthcare in this liberally intolerant system.

Everyone argues that we live in a system that should provide healthcare for the weakest. Why not the strongest. Now, I'm fucked because I can't change private insurance due to the hip replacement.

Just yesterday I was reading about crops going unpicked in California due to labor shortage. If Americans want those jobs, why don't they show up to pick the crops?

I'll ask again, what are the numbers and the analysis of said numbers? You're talking in generalities but who pays what and who receives what and how much was it in the past and how much is it now?

What percentage of your property taxes goes to pay welfare and is it a federal program or a local one? What do you mean there is a standing order for workers? Who is supposed to fill that and, what is the difference between those workers and the migrant ones?
