yes, not uninstalling ALL of a program happens to me often, too. Sometimes I just search under 'programs' after an uninstall and delete the remainder manually.

I also use Ace Utilities to remove unneeded registry entries weekly. [free to try, then $30].

When you build a custom system (desktop computer) you can avoid all that crap they install on your hard drive. I will never buy a brand name desktop ever again.
