.......that no hubby could have his heart full of love when his wife has her head full of curlers/rollers or when her hair is dirty....

I wrote that with my tongue in cheek to elicit a spontaneous response from CB! and I succeeded!

Did you know that one of the things that have caused not a few problems for both men and women is female vanity which ever sparks a woman's desire to look not only beautiful but also to best other women in appearance? To this end, many women spend a lot of time and money on themselves. If they can afford it, that's fine. But, if not, they could create unnecessary problems for themselves and the men involved with them.

For example, I have heard of women who went for relatively expensive breast-reducing or breast-increasing surgery and ended up traumatized when they found that one breast turned out to be smaller than the other one or one of them hung lower. And some women who went for expensive lipo-suction sadly died overnight at the clinic, while others were traumatized by a resulting off-centred navel which they thought reduced their sexiness, and so on and so forth.... And, while some face-lifts turned out well for some women, some others turned out unsatisfactorily causing much anguish and life-long embarrassment to the unlucky women and to the men who had paid for the operations. And there were those who tried slimming over a long time with little or no success, and others who tried became anorexic much to the detriment of their health. Oh well, I guess I'd better stop giving more examples.

By the way, this August during my stop-over in Dubai, an Arab man told me that a young Islamic woman saves a lot of time and money by simply covering her face with a veil and her hair with a wrap of some kind like a scarf, preparatory to going out for social functions. And since every other young woman does the same sort of thing, she has no complex about having to look her best to her peers and to men admirers. That Arab man also said that wearing the veil has helped many a woman to enjoy her food more. How? Because the veil which she has to lift partially in order to eat helps in trapping the aroma of the food for her nose! Also, as the veil helps in constraining the amount of food eaten, many an Arab woman remains slim and attractive to her man. Could this be one of the reasons (if not the only one, ha! ha! ha!) responsible for the rapid rise of the Muslim population in the Middle East???????
