Sirius has never provided a conversion rate from promo subscribers to paying subscribers. They have repeatedly said in public statements that they don't have enough data to provide the answer. It appears to me that you have no idea what the conversion rate actually is.

Furthermore Sirius has never provided a figure of how many of their customers are in promo periods. Is it 5%? 10%? 15%? 20%? Nobody outside of Sirius knows. XM provides both a conversion rate and an actual figure for how many subscribers are in the promotional period.

Doesn't matter.. SIRI's business model is Retail Heavy. So that means the customer decides which service they WANT TO SUBSCRIBE TOO. Not which one is provided in the car they buy. The initial customer choice helps lower the deactivations..

Different business goals..

XM made a choice.. And now they pay with high CHURN metrics.

You stayin' up late with David?? Maybe David's have'n a sleep over tonight???
