Democrats have solid plans on all major issues. But the GOP congress will not let them bring their plans to the floor. The unfair rule in congress now is that unless a majority of Repubs support something it doesn't see daylight. That's a major chunk of truth and justice taken out of our democracy right there. for awhile after 9-11, democrats went along with the Bushies and tried to trust them to do the right thing. But they cheated, lied, demonized, stole more and more power and became our worst nightmare, so we finally had to fight back. It's been a long time coming. Bushies stole the White House twice and at least some seats in the 2002 election, so basiucally we have a hijacked government now, by the ide willing to cheat and lie vs. the side that tried to play by the rules. We should now reward the honest side. If we reward the crooks again we're asking for it.
