How depressing to be stuck in a class like that. I had to take a culture awareness class about American Indians that was like that. It could have been a good class, but the way it was structured it was merely a pulpit for a bombastic idiot. I think it's fine to reevaluate things we take for granted as being useful. I don't hold anything sacred, not really, so if something doesn't work I'm happy to throw it out, but the girl scouts really seems to work. It seemed a strange thing to fasten on.
