After reading the other responses to my post the reasons are reinforced.

Steve, you have to understand that at least the French and German double digit unemployment was created by socialists, the liberals closest brethren and not like that particularly abominable US 5% unemployment caused by the utterly wrong politics of Bush and his repugnicans.
