I am the only reason this thread is alive. I want to make an example of Corrigan who is one of the worst offenders on SI perping far rightwing lies, corruption and wrong-headed decisions. If you are defending her, you are just plain wrong too. She has a long record of deliberate dishonesty and relies solely on smears and rightwing myths for her arguments. The #1 claim of Bushies for instance is that Bush-Cheney are strong on defense. But look at the results. No one in their right mind could conclude that B-C have done even a fairly good job as commanders in chief. Obviously, their record is poor. Very poor. And also very dishonest, costly, corrupt and divisive. The only parties who win their "war" are the Halliburton types, and our enemies who become more and more accepted in the world as (as Colin Powell now says) we throw away our moral authority.
