I heard yesterday that there was a buzz in the republican party that Rove said there would be an October surprise. I wonder if this is it. It does seem kind of curious that Bush said almost nothing about Bin Laden for a long time and then in a recent speech mentioned him 16 times. One problem is verifying this rumor. Absent seeing his head on a spike many will have their doubts.

They have killed or captured a few thousand #2 guys in AQ. To the Dumbyasses, AQ is a flat organization - everyone is a #2 that reports directly to OBL! :-)

Bush did not do anything to harm Bin Laden, you lying idiot. He had him trapped at Tora Bora and let him walk. If the French report is true, OBL died of an illness. But this is a completely unsubstantiated report and also very suspect considering its timing. Like the six terorist warnings before the 2004 election and the perfectly-timed tape from Bin Laden a week before the election which was clearly meant to help Bush. Notice how Osama Bin Laden's name only comes up from Bushies right before a US election. The rest of the time they claim he doesn't matter.
