I noticed that Clinton had been out giving interviews but every time his face appeared on my screen the channel just happened to change. Frankly I would rather watch Meerkat Manor than Clinton any day.

Bush didn't even try to stop 9-11 or Al Qaida. He didn't even mention the word terrorism before 9-11. In fact he had Ashcroft call the FBI off all Saudis in the US and Ashcroft told his agents not to talk about terrorism. He didn't want to hear about it. Rice was to deliver a speech on 9-11 about threats to America. Al Qaida and terrorism weren't even going to be mentioned. Bush disbanded Clinton's entire counter-terror apparatus and didn't replace it.

And you blame Clinton? Why? Because deep down you know the truth, that Bush-Cheney were completely AWOL on terrorism and in some ways still are? Why? Because their priorities are not our safety, they are Exxon, the Saudis, Halliburton and using terror as a scare tactic to cow the public into voting for their corrupt rightwing cronies.
