Of course, when on hydrogen, it emits only water vapor.
I have trouble believing that. The combustion isn't like the chemistry experiment where you fill an upside-down flask with H2, then light the mouth and get a light blue, barely visible flame. It's got to be more like gasoline power- -an explosion. The high heat and pressure of that explosion can be expected to force nitrogen in the air to combine with oxygen, giving nitrous oxides- -just like a gasoline engine. And those nitrous oxides form smog over cities.

Unless the H2 runs through a fuel cell and creates electricity that drives an electric motor.

The car has a range of 450 miles with the hydrogen tank taking it 125 miles and the gas tank adding another 300.
Ah, those numbers don't add up. :-)

Of course, a 7 series Beemer isn't an option for most people, but then early adopters don't usually come from median income households. ;-)
You've STILL got to get to the price down to ever have much impact, though.
