Police Accused Of 'Cowardly Failure' To Prosecute (Muslim) Militant (UK)

The police were accused yesterday of being "cowed by lunatics" amid anger at the failure to prosecute a Muslim militant who praised the July 7 bombers.

Abu Izzadeen, the extremist who branded John Reid, the Home Secretary, an "enemy of Muslims and Islam" last week, has yet to face charges more than a year after police began investigating him for alleged incitement to murder.

Abu Izzadeen: 'The real terrorist is Tony Blair'

Mr Izzadeen was removed by security guards after he screamed abuse at Mr Reid, who was addressing members of east London's Muslim community on the threat of radicalisation.

But the Muslim convert, previously known as Trevor Brooks, renewed his attack on BBC radio's Today programme. "There is going to be a very strong reaction from the [Muslim] community," he said. "You can only push people to a certain level until they explode. The real terrorist is Tony Blair. He is a murderer. There is blood on his hands."

The Sunday Telegraph has learnt that he regards his comments on Today as a propaganda coup. Mr Izzadeen, 31, from Leyton, east London, who has been linked to the outlawed extremist groups al-Muhajiroun and the Saviour Sect, has been under investigation by the police since August 2005, after an appearance on BBC 2's Newsnight.

When questioned on the programme about the July 7 bombers, Mr Izzadeen described them as "completely praiseworthy" and said the attacks, which killed 52 London Tube and bus passengers, were legitimate "mujahedeen activity" that would make people "wake up and smell the coffee".

Last night, David Davies, the Tory MP for Monmouth, criticised the police for failing to bring charges against Mr Izzadeen.

"The trouble with the police is that they are completely cowed by these lunatics who are besmirching our airwaves with torrents of hatred," he said. "It sends out a very dangerous message to other extremists that the authorities are too cowardly to take action against people calling for incitement to violence and murder."

Andrew Dismore, the Labour MP for Hendon, said that "more urgency" was needed in dealing with extremists such as Mr Izzadeen. He said: "These people are becoming increasingly strident. They are taunting the police. It's time we got to grips with them."

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said there was an "ongoing investigation" into Mr Izzadeen, and that charges of incitement and solicitation to murder were being considered.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "We're working very closely with the CPS, but it may be that we still require further evidence for the most serious charges being considered."

Still moslums still carry out their burtal so called honor murders in Canada and a lot of the time the murdering muslin filth get away with it.
WHAT'S your law enforcement doing????

Murder? And they get away with it?

"There will be no religious arbitration in Ontario." Such arbitrations, he said, "threaten our common ground."
Exactly.

According to The National Post, legislation will be introduced later this year, outlawing the use of religious tribunals.
Ichy says this has happened.

If they or any other group object to Canadian or US law, there are planes leaving every day for every other country. Neither government will stop them.
