Hezballah was handed a resounding military defeat

In politics all that matters is perception. Hezballah was perceived as winning, therefore they won.

In 1968 in the Tet offensive, the North Vietnamese was handed a stunning military defeat. However, they won in the minds of the world and the rest is history.

Dan Gordon focuses on a very gloomy, and scary futuristic scenario, but one that certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. One that I think should be taken seriously and contribute to the guidance of our policy going forward.

Excellent article........thanks for posting.
