If you look back at Christianity's history you might make a case for Christianity being a "Death Cult".
Personally I abhor all and do not subscribe to any religion.
That being said, you mention that Chrisians have to look back to make a case for Christianity as a death cult...very true. The Christians (for the most part) have acknowledged their transgressions against others and have moved on. If you are bringing up the crusades; the crusades were began to regain lands forced into slavery by the sword of islam. islam has not changed and is on it's last spasmodic legs as it cannot compete with civilized peoples. islam is the primary evil on the planet and will be routed in time at the cost of millions of deaths. Does the pope demand that those that leave the Catholic church be killed? Look...I could go on and on here. I ask you to read the koran and the hadith and al hadith before you so easily try to compare Christianity to that of islam.

BY THE SWORD AND NOT NY THE WORD IT DESTROYED ALL THE UNIQUE AND DIVERSIFIED CULTURES OF THE MIDDLE EAST! It replaced the Kurdish, Chaldean, Assyrian, Syriac, Coptic cultures of the Middle East with the Arab culture!
Plus, the current Muslim wars of conquest and aggression in Israel, Sudan, Algeria, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Armenia, Albania,Chechnya, Daghestan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Indonesia.
Where are Christians waging bloody wars of conquest and aggression? Islam is coming for you and your neighbor. This is not a joke or idle prediction. If you continue with appeasement, acceptance or attempt dialogue you too shall be destroyed, either killed or your life forever changed, as islam will not accept anything but total submission by you.
