Anyone who can create a mockup of Google or PayPal can easily duplicate the look of your bank’s log-in screen. Once they lure you there, all they have to do is pilfer your log-in info, crash the session, and wait for an opportune moment—say, in the middle of the night—to gain access to your actual account. Next day, you’re broke, with your money long since disappeared into the international ether, and no way to trace where it’s gone
