My recollection was that when Clinton referred to Mohammad
Aidid he said instead Mohammad ALI. Can anyone confirm that?

Nah. Coffee, at most. He went to Fox expressly to put on that performance. He knew that question had to be coming and he was ready and waiting. Loaded for bear.

But the act didn't come off as well as he hoped. Instead of righteous indignation, it just looked like more finger-wagging when caught in a lie. (That's what he does when he's on the defensive and he knows he's in the wrong, y'know. It's an obvious "tell." I'd roll him quick in a poker game.)
