As I mentioned in a previous post, this is mostly an academic discussion since there are no immediate plans to change anything being discussed.

There are also some significant contextual differences in what is being only superficially discussed. Objection to the "Bulls/Bears" board status is an underlying catalyst for some of the arguments. Others who primarily use the non-investment forums object to the less-stringent TOU enforcement there. Some just don't care for certain users, or certain admins, present company included.

Fair enough. It is moot at the present time since there are no immediate changes pending in the board structure, TOU enforcement, or site personnel. That will please some and disappoint others, each for their own reasons.

I agree. The SI boards work well. I see absolutely no need for change.
