Economists often skew things they way they want them to go. In fact many of the things we are paying for in iraq are good for the economy, and make the US more prosperous not less. Look at all the good stuff that came out of WWII

So you are saying that you are better than a Nobel prize-winning economist Hawk??

Nobel prize winning economist Milton Friedman says universal government-funded health care coverage is inefficient and will make us go broke. He favors medical savings accounts. So I guess that settles the matter for you, no?

When he's publishing estimates based solely upon the last three years of activities to predict overall costs for the future, I'd saying that he's trying to politicize...

Because I could claim that the war is going to cost $6 Trillion dollars by 2020, were I willing to make a prediction out to THAT particular timeframe.

His prediction, and mine, rely squarely upon there being no change in personnel deployments in Iraq over the specified timeframes. And I don't see that being a reasonable variable.

Thus, he's politicized his research.

I see Ms Hawkette spinning her made up numbers again. You'd think she'd spend 15 minutes out of her countless hours posting getting actual numbers.

She doesn't like the actual numbers so she just makes up ones out of thin air. Now that's a Karl Rove tactic. It's also a tactic of liars.
