...............Silver & Gold recap:

Ron -- just for you:

How about a Sunday night smackdown?

A state of the metals recap, forensic analysis of why we're where we are... where we're going...and why. Lot's of charts. Not the crystal ball hoo-doo-voo-doo variety, but a backward look of what & why...and a peek behind the opportunity radar.

--Sunday night -- be there.

Re: Short Natural Gas/XNG E&P stocks.

September puts have been berry, berry good to me.

For the hyper-manic tic-traders...expect the fundies to put a little lipstick on the pig in the next couple of days -- to window dress their end of the quarter statements.

We may see a little blip thru the end of the week...but, then revert back to rollover for the first part of October to at least the XNG 380-385 level....maybe XNG 365ish.

If you listened and used puts - Aug, Sept, October will have been berry, berry, good for you too.

Pigs get Fat, but Hogs get slaughtered... don't get greedy because -- "Gas Vegas" will humble you in both directions.

We reached a very attractive Risk:Reward - discrepancy between price and risk for going short the XNG/Nat Gas E&P stocks versus Natural gas itself...and its paying off in spades.

The stocks had to come down to reflect the collapse in natural gas prices.

I'm neither a bull, or bear...and most importantly -- I'm "perma-neutral"...

Money is made in both directions and it's often made faster and easier -- with less risk; on the short-side.

And it just was -- all across the commodity spectrum.

For the 327th time... "straddles" are a virtual no-brainer in this environment -- collect in both directions.

I'll probably throw on some "calls" at the bottom of my E&P shorts, but probably in Nat Gas itself...as Gas is bound to get a little bounce here in late Oct-November.

....rinse, wash and repeat.

PS: bwah, bwah, bwah Mark Sexton...it's always the fundamentals on the way up...and dirty rotten scoundrels on the way down.

WRONG... it's Newton's Law of Speculation:
