Yes, each cruise missile was a separate attempt, aimed at a different coordinate. We don't know how many personally targeted what was thought to be OBL, but they all targeted Al Qaida assets including all known training camps, the bio-chemical factory and safehouses.

Also, Clinton was organizing hit teams to go into Afghanistan and kill OBL and he had a 24/7 Situation Room in the WH focused solely on Al Qaida run by Richard Clarke.

Bush disbanded all of this and did not replace it. If you want someone to blame, blame the jackoff who was on duty for eight months and didn't lift a fionger against Al Qaida or terrorism of any kind. That is, GW Bush, who now falsely claims to be tough on Al Qaida after he's let them get away numerous times.

Bush was tough on Saddam, but not Al Qaida. Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11.
