I know, mandatory government subsidized health care coverage is the Democrat cause of the day. The simple fact remains, Americans spend more on health care because we DEMAND more and GET more. The Canadian Supreme Court invalidated laws against Canadians using private health care because it found that it took so long for Canadians to get necessary services that people were dying, needlessly. They delayed this new policy from going into effect until June, 2006, so it will be some time before we see what happens in Canada, but odds are that more and more Canadians will give up on socialized medicine and go to private doctors and hospitals.
