But it would have stopped the damage Clinton was doing to himself, and gotten the show back to the rather dull subject of how great Bill was for raising money. The spectacle of the host trying to guide clinton back to the subject Clinton wanted to talk about was better TV than Clinton talking about raising money for good works. Frankly any time you can get someone to lose it and go right off track you have a coup.
