And what do you think about Broadcom?

Shares of communications chip maker Broadcom, Irvine, Calif., got a boost in afternoon trading after BMO Capital Markets analyst Ambrish Srivastava lifted his 2006 earnings estimate to $1.32 per share from $1.29 per share based on increased business and sales visibility.

"To be brutally honest, we did not believe management when it gave the original guidance, and our own checks at the time had indicated that business stayed very weak for the third quarter. However, recently . . . our sense is that Broadcom's own visibility has improved going into the fourth quarter," Srivastava wrote in a note to clients.
