"Bush gets failing grades for his war in Iraq," - non-constructive!

"In some peoples eyes it doesn't matter what Bush does or doesn't do or how good or bad he does it, it's enough that he's a Republican....... Such irrational hatred does nothing but harm to any agenda you have."

Opinion that is shared by many.

"Sure, but the same holds true for Bush supporter, ... I've been called a hate-monger and traitor a thousand times here" -
The first part requires an elaboration to be a proper response. The rest is interesting.
RE: PGWB "It's now become a thread of old farts nodding their heads at each other and calling anyone that does not believe the Bush administration is the most successful piece of government in all of history is called a traitor..."
You don't see that here. I have been very clear that I will tolerate opinion striped of the charged language and disrespect. There is some of the sycophant syndrome here, but it is not because the moderator bans people because he disagrees with them. FWIW - GZ typically offers people an opportunity to explain themselves, but people who view BDS as normal often don't see that demented bleetings are offensive.

"ask you a question and after you answer we can move on to an actual (linear) discussion :

What's the difference between constructive and destructive criticism?"
While off topic it is a request for adult to adult type mature communication. Which is hardly true of this diatribe laced self pitying comment he was responding to: "To be critical of Bush, his failing and misguided war foray into Iraq brings on mostly calls of traitor and accusation of "irrational hatred.""

"One builds, the other destroys. You say the war in Iraq is making the world a safer place. I say it is not."
Respectful response which furthers rather than terminates communication.

One builds, the other destroys.

Now, let's just take one (false) item that's been repeated adnauseam by the left in various forms, that Bush lied in order to invade Iraq. Even though this has been thoroughly disproved the left still uses this as a mantra. Now I ask you is this constructive?

You say the war in Iraq is making the world a safer place.

For one, I don't ever remember saying that so please don't put words in my mouth. As it so happens, in the long run, I do think the world will be safer because of the war.

You know, you leftists seem to think that if we never invaded Iraq and played hands off in the ME that everything would just be hunkydory. Terrorists just don't become terrorists over night, it takes a certain amount of brain washing. Since the Iranians deposed the Shah in 79 they've been building Islamic schools to crank out suicide/murderers/terrorists, not only in Iran but throughout the world and this is exactly what we're seeing the results of today. The vast majority of these terrorists are from the same age group, mid twenties. You do the math.......I've lots more to say but no time to do it........
