Clarke's Al Qaida desk was abolished by Bush. After that he wanted a new gig. Clinton had nothing to do with demoting him or cancelling his crack Al Qaida task force inside the WH. You rightwingers continue to lie, misrepresent, twist peoples' words and try to blame Bush's sins and failures on Clinton. it's total phony baloney. Bush let 9-11 happen after he was warned. Clinton tried to kill Bin Laden 150 times and stopped the 1999 LAX bombing. Clinton tried very hard. Bush did not try at all. Bush did less than nothing, he even ignored the clear warnings. Do you even care about national security, or just partidsan finger-pointing? Was hebert Hoover responsible for Pearl harbor? Was Eisenhower responsible for the Bay Of Pigs? WHy is the presdient before suddenly responsible for the current presidnt's obvious failures? Any answers? or just dishonest to the core?

Bushies need to stop lying and blaming their sins on others. I cannot think of a single time when Bush Or Cheney has actually admitted -- "Okay, I made a mistake, it was my fault, I blew it." After they have blown it a thousand times and lied about it a thousand times more. Reagan, Carter, Clinton, JFK and all real leaders admit their mistakes and apologize. Time for Bush-Cheney to apologize for 9-11 and Iraq both. Also for stealing two elections and allowing gross corruption to envelope Washington DC.
