Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Palestinian terrorists operating out of northern Gaza fired two more rockets into southern Israel on Monday morning.

One of the projectiles destroyed two cars in the community of Kibbutz Mefalsim. An Israeli woman was evacuated from the area by paramedics and treated for shock.

The second rocket landed near the town of Sderot, but did not cause any injuries or damage.

The Sderot Municipality issued a statement noting the increased danger its residents are living under.

"In the past two weeks [rockets] have been fired in fixed hours between 6 and 9 a.m., which are critical hours during which students leave for school and adults leave for work. We have also noticed that the rockets themselves have become more sophisticated, causing more serious damage," read the statement.

Israeli forces continue to operate in northern Gaza in an effort to thwart further rocket attacks.
