Maybe you should open your eyes and get your head out of Soros butt. Quit reading MORONSDOTCOM. hate sites.

2700 soldiers killed is, of course, terrible...let's compare.

Battle of Gettysburg approx. 6000 dead

WW1---estimated 117,000 Americans KIA

WW2-----est. 300,000- 400,000 Americans KIA

It is interesting to note that CIVILIAN casualties in WW2 are estimated at 32 million .

You are forgetting these attributes:

1) LONGER then WW I, WW II, or Korea.

2) Already (in inflation adjusted dollars) MORE EXPENSIVE then Vietnam.

(And, since the 'fat lady' hasn't sung yet --- the final tally is still unknown... but --- as costs have been rising *steadily* all along, practically each month posting new highs --- the final tally will undoubtedly be a whopper.)

And the 'Birth Tax' for every new American will reach levels never before reached.
