Bushies are ALL ABOUT revisionist history. Let me list a few big fat lies we hear from creepos like Sean Hannity and Anne Coulter: - Reagan won the Cold War (yeah with the help of about twenty other major leaders and forces, including #1 Gorbachev, Jimmy Carter, Lech Walesa, Europe, religions, rock n' roll even Islamic Mujeheddin in Afghanistan who Carter armed) - Carter refused to stand up for Iran (history shows Carter had no realistic options to save the Shah who was self-destricting long before Carter came into power, ditto with the Arab oil embargo which ruined the Carter economy along with post-Vietnam debt) - Vietnam was lost because of peace-makers (no, Vietnam was lost by LBJ and Nixon because their mission had nothing to do with reality and was actually wrong and evil. Peace-makers saved thousands of lives) - Saddam was a grave threat with WMD and AL Qiada contacts (none of it existed, though he was a potential threat maybe, or maybe not) - Democrats spend more. (evidence shows Republicans actually do and Bush certainly does, plus when dems spend they spend on the people, Bushies spend on the mega-corporate interests) - Tax cuts raise revenues (Almost never, they create deficits unless spending is slashed which the GOP wont do) - Democrats are weak on defense (wrong, Dems don't spend as much on nukes and other BS we dont need but we're smarter and use more diplomacy. When necessary we can be very tough) - Cutting pollution costs jobs (just the opposite is being proven, plus huge energy cost savings) - McCarthyism attacked only real communist enemies of the US (Hardly a single single victim of McCarthyism supported in any way shape or form any enemies of the US, the meaning of word communism had totally changed in 15 years, from a positive into a negative. McCarthy was mixing the two definitions) - Clinton coddled AL Qiada (not at all, in fact it was Bush who did absolutely nothing against Al Qaida and ignored the pre 9-11 warnings)
