Clinton stated AL Qaida did not exist in Ethiopia during Blackhawk Down. While Bin Laden bragged he was behind it, there's no evidence to back that up. On this subject, the rightwing is taking the sdie of Bin Laden, which they often do, including trying to scare Americans with Arab and terrorist boogey men before each election.

In fact if you think about it Bush and Bin Laden are each others' best friends. What would one be without the other?

Also, if you saw the movie, you remember we were there on a peacekeeping mission, not to bomb Mogadishu. But the battle in Mogadishu to save a downed Blawkhawk was a dire warning about what we are now caught in in Iraq. Apparently, Bush-Cheney didn't learn that lesson, nor the lessons of Vietnam. Kerry is far too smart to allow our troops to be trapped in a third world quagmire like that. He knows combat. Bush doesn't.
