In the US electorate, only 35% or less of all voters ID themselves as liberal, yet disapproval for Bush is 55-60% and higher at times, so clearly a lot of non-liberals aren't crazy about the guy either.

I raise that only to help dispel the notion from the right that anyone who doesn't support Bush must be a wild-eyed lefty. The facts simply don't bear that out at all, despite all the rhetoric to the contrary.

Once Bush has left office and, presuming no clone replaces him, we can all go back to our standard issue liberal/conservative definitions. If we can remember them?
