Hi Blue,

Right selling puts on a stock that is low in price can give a below market net entry price and often a good percent profit if you just get to keep the money.

My best buys where on Vix spike days of big down days.

Did it a lot on Orcl between 10 and 12.

Out of favor stocks with options can give you the time value of the option if you sell the put out in terms of time (before expiration).

Caution only do if you want the underlying stock.
