In your ideal world, as I said before, you think the way to deal with military threats is to serve the enemy tea and cookies, and tell the miltary if they want new systems, hold bake sales. Well I suppose we could make the tea in a lead pot, and make the cookies with some Mushroom flour I know of, and it might be effective..... Seems like a lotta work to replace a bullet though..... AS for the Army holding bake sales, that seems like a really hard way to poison the Al Qaeda..... Wouldn't the death of the general population be a hazard if you were selling poison cookies at bake sales? I think we are better off using more traditional methods of killing people.

Our ONE country spends more than the entire REST OF THE WORLD on it's military. How come? I know I'M sick of paying for it! globalsecurity.org (These figures don't include the war in Iraq, and are MUCH higher now.) We're one of the safest countries on earth from military threats. Our land neighbors are Canada and Mexico, friendly, non-threatening countries, so invasion is really a threat only to the most paranoid. We spend THOUSANDS of times more than the entire AXIS OF EVIL put together. Repugnicans are a party that plays entirely to the lizard brain, the party of fear. It's obviously worked on YOU!
