His previous campaigns were against fairly 'light' opponents....

(And, as someone pointed out... the GOP has, within recent times, since the Bush-endorsed toppling of Trent Lott, taken a decisive turn against the old style of 'wink and nod' acceptance of racism that it formerly employed to win so many elections in the South. Allen finds himself on shifting turf.)

what makes you think he is inept??..He has been in Congress, the Governor, ..and some freak comes in 35 years AFTER the fact saying that GA called someone a nigger in the 70s???

Surely you are not stupid enough to miss the fact that 42 days out of an election this comes out?????
