Of course. But how they are informed makes no difference to my point. That you might have been a lifelong liberal makes no difference now in terms of how you see things if now you are a neocon, or a conservative. I guess it's an interesting bit of trivia regarding your history, but it has nothing to do with what I was talking about. What you may have wanted, or think you may have wanted, or claim that you might have wanted, is irrelevant to my point.

The problem with that criteria is that it lays too much guilt on all of us. There are very strong arguments that presidents from Reagan forward up to and through Bush II can be blamed for 9-11. The arguments are not convoluted either.
