I agre.. no stone tablets for anyone as for Clarke getting Bin Laden...wow, if you read his book (granted, he may be gilding the lilly a bit), he outlines the discovery and recommendation steps he and his department took in both the Clinton and Bush administrations. Richard himself was not operational, so don't think he could be expected to pull the actual trigger on Usama.
