That sounds odd...

I've never before heard that.

I never knew that they was any pay grade distinction between someone appointed and Senate confirmed... and someone with a recess appointment.

I think its SAD, and an example of the moral degeneration of this nation when a man IMMENTINTELY QUALIFIED by nearly every critic to be our Ambassador is DERAILED and probably out of Government service over POLITICS by people, many of whom are not even qualified to represent this nation. jdn
