re: But people will be asking that question anyway, some with political motives. A master politician like Clinton should have seen that coming, but his angry response came off as both incredible and unbecoming of a former president.

A few posts ago you were calling him a liar, now you are calling him "angry"? Whatever you think (impossible to tell) he DID know it was coming, and his response was planned. It's the start of the '08 election, with a sidetrack to the midterms, in case you missed it. And the day's of swiftboating without response are over...

re: Not to mention that his political opponents are now having a field day with it.

His political opponents, you included, are dead meat. The electorate realizes what a complete mess you've made. They won't forgive you. Clinton earned and deserves respect... you guys earned and deserve contempt.

This was just the first volley over the bow. Get used to it. It's going to be relentless...

no one expected Bin Laden to pull off a 9/11 before it was too late.

Bin Laden couldn't have pulled a 9/11 unless Cheney wanted somekind of event which would justify a mid-east attack.

The difference is that Clinton didn't want America to be attacked.
