Actually, Croc and I are PMing. She's on wifi, about an hour and a half away. We're trying to hook up on Thursday. And, in case we don't, or even if we do, I sent her a list of wineries and a hot tub resort a few miles from a redwood grove.

elp~ well, now you've gotten part of the lowdown from WR. (-: i've been sort of wandering around out here in the west for the past couple of weeks. will be out here for another 3 weeks wandering through forests and along rivers. having a good time. rarely have net access, but have the laptop along as i'm doing a lot of photography and have to download cameras daily. feeling well... it's all been good as a way of recovering from the surgery earlier this year. dropping by the thread here when i have a chance, but usually time on the net is so limited that i just read the last 8 or 10 posts to the thread. hope everyone is doing well. ~croco

get thamester to pony up too. I thought you were talking about football, or the US variant. Where do ponies come in? Isn't that cheating? Can I send my losses via Etrade? <edit> suddenly saw how that read ... not quite as intended! what I meant is, when I lose the guesses as to which teams I've never heard of don't win against the other teams I've never heard of at a game I don't hear about, can't watch and don't understand if I do... is there an easy way to send along my losing bets? Memo to self, I must get a US bank account. I just need 38 forms of ID, limitless time and a proof of essential goodness signed by a deity of my choice (non-Muslim) <g>
