People from the US who go to Mexico for medical treatment are usually cancer victims without hope who go to Mexico for treatment with unapproved, discredited treatments. A horror story is all they have left, where ever they are treated. I haven't heard of Mexico being a "destination" in this new era of medical tourism. It's happeneing in India, Thailand and other eastern countries.

The "medical tourism" we're talking about has been featured on 60 Minutes just lately, and involves American trained doctors in foreign hospitals that often make ours look very poor by comparison. You need to re-educate yourself, because times have changed.
