American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC) That sums up American foreign policy under Bush. Totally manipulated by persons interested in the priorities of Israel, using AIPAC as their focal point for lobbying. Our relationship with Israel should be completely reassassed given that our support for Israel: - increases our risk of terrorism significantly - drains the U.S. Treasury - increases oil/gasoline prices - makes the Mid East and entire world more unstable - distracts our attention from other priorites Our support for Israel is a raw deal for average Americans. We gain nothing from it. Why do you support Israel? Don't hide behind the KKK smearing. I, for one have a sister in law who is Jewish and many Jewish friends going back to childhood. I am not motivated by hate by any particular type of person or religion, but rather by a love of my country and wanting to see its best interests served. Letting Israel set our foreign policy is not in the United State's best interest.
