The evangelical Christians were pissed at Bush for sending Happy Holidays cards. They could not imagine why in this "Christian Nation" would not be sending out Merry Christmas cards on official letterhead?!? Kudos to Bush for a change for being sensitive to other religions. Too bad the wacko rightwing Christians got on his case about it.

The "holiday cards" had the OT verse Psalms 28:7, and no mention of Christmas. They were paid for by the RNC which is of course chaired by the Jewish Ken Mehlman.
