Medicare has something like a 5 percent administrative overhead. they have way too many "guidelines" but they don't have all the 'reviewers' and "system of denial" that the private insurance hang their hat on.

Medicare actually GOT it right in that respect...

Making a one payer system in Cali (which arnold vetoed) would have destroyed that 20-30 percent ADMINISTRATIVE overhead in one stroke of the pen...

4 Dollar prescriptions is JAW dropping to me. It's about time they DEVALUE that CRAP. If they devalue it in the mind it's over. There are other alternatives to wacking a person's liver, kidneys, and heart muscle.
