Interesting! That's a L-O-N-G mostly unguarded border out there in the desert badlands. (And will take a long time to build anything... and fences are EASILY cut.) Still... I imagine that Iraq will split into three new countries (Shiite Iraq... Kurdistan... and Sunni Iraq) long before any fence is ever completed... and the Sunnis of the former Iraq will be the real 'fence' the Saudis are looking to have between THEM and the SHIITES. Who knows, if they NEED them badly enough, they may even let them be annexed formally into 'Saudi Arabia', or else support the push to incorporate them into a newly enlarged 'trans-Jordan'.
