Keeping in mind that I don't consider merely conveying information that turns out to be wrong, proof of a lie.

An important point that many miss (not I am NOT asserting that jlallen misses it, nor am I commenting on his post at all). On other threads I am frequently accused by a few individuals of being a liar. What's interesting is that they call correct statements lies, but I don't expect them to agree with me, however even if the statement was false that would hardly make me a liar.

Some of the statements that get the accusation are things like "Both of the main political parties in the US have a problem with corruption", or "The oil industries profit margins are not unusually high", or "The price of oil isn't set by some conspiracy between Bush and Exxon-Mobil".

He never did answer this.

Maybe he expects everyone to take his word for it.
