The thing that bugs me is that he throws out the statement and basically expects everyone to accept it on faith. It is a pretty bold assertion to throw out there without any figures to back it up. I don't accept it as true because he says so. He's going to have to back it up with figures, and figures that I can verify from an unbiased source. You also state as if it were established fact that "These changes happened. The observed result also happened." You have not backed up this declarative statement with any substantiation.
