what? there are plenty of people talking about the katrina imports who have jacked up the crime rate in houston. there is lots of neighborhood mobilization in lots of neighborhoods in houston during the day and at night. kinky friedman, who is running for governor, said on several nationwide news outlets (msnbc and fox that i have seen) that one of the first things he will do as governor is give houston $100M more to hire 1500 more police to get their arms around this big problem.
