Liar. The Cole bombing was confirmed during the Clinton administration. You never have any facts.. Consequences and after-effects President Bill Clinton declared, "If, as it now appears, this was an act of terrorism, it was a despicable and cowardly act. We will find out who was responsible and hold them accountable". Some critics [1] [2] [3] [4] have pointed out that, under U.S. law, an attack against a military target does not meet the legal definition of terrorism (see: 22 USC § 2656f(d)(2)). The Clinton Administration was heavily criticized for failing to militarily respond to the attack on the USS Cole. [citation needed] As al-Qaeda's involvement wasn't conclusive until the final days of the Clinton Administration, others also have faulted the Bush Administration in early 2001 for the same reason.
