A few years ago, Buddy Villines, our county judge decided Little Rock needed a sports arena. After the $$ millions of overruns and mistakes, we have an arena. I doubt it makes any money, the Pyramid in Memphis is a disaster also. Now the county is screaming they're broke and the jail is full and we need to raise taxes to fund the jail. The election was a few weeks ago and the people said hell no. I myself thought "judge, why don't you lock them up in your "buddy-dome"? If you give power to politicians you trust, it's just a matter of time before a politician you don't like abuses it and there is nothing in the world you can do about it.
